About
Speech therapy in the school setting supports students in developing the communication skills they need to succeed both in the classroom and beyond. Speech-language pathologists (SLPs) work with children who may have difficulties with speech sounds, language development, voice, fluency (stuttering), and social communication.
Through small-group sessions, classroom collaboration, and teacher consultation, speech therapy helps students improve their ability to understand and express language, participate in learning, and communicate effectively with peers and adults. Our goal is to empower each student to reach their full potential by building the communication skills necessary for academic achievement and social success.
