Today's citizens are living in an information-intensive society where the ability to access, evaluate, and use information effectively is vital to success in college, in the work force, and in daily life.

The primary goal of Monroe County Public Schools' Technology Division is to ensure that students become effective users of ideas and information and thereby achieve information literacy. Our second goal is to help students to develop into independent, lifelong learners.
