Statement

Monroe County Public Schools is a small, rural school district located in southwest Alabama, serving students in grades Pre-K through 12. The district serves a diverse student population and is committed to providing equitable educational opportunities for all learners.

The district receives federal Title funds to support eligible students and schools by addressing academic needs, improving instructional quality, and closing achievement gaps. All federally funded programs are planned, implemented, and monitored in accordance with applicable state and federal laws to ensure compliance, fiscal accountability, and effective use of resources.

The Federal Programs Director, Dr. Coquesa G. Dotson, oversees the administration and compliance of all federal programs.
